Date: November 9 & 10, 2024
Place: Nottingham, England

The Kick Off 2 World Cup returned to its birthplace, England, for the 5th time. This time the players traveled more to the north, to the city of Nottingham. 35 players from 11 countries competed in the most prominent competition of the Kick Off Association. They witnessed for the sixth time two compatriots -Italians, to be exact- in a sine missione fight for the title in the final, Fabio against Gianni for the third time in 10 years. And just like their previous encounter in Bournemouth, Fabio was victorious after beating the goal difference he had lost with in the first leg. Along with this second gold medal -10th for Italy-, he collected the top scorer trophy. The level of gameplay displayed in the final was so high, we half expected to see a "These stunts are performed by trained professionals, don't try this at home" message on the big screen.

Gianni Torchio added another silver medal to his considerable collection. The winner of the 3rd place final was the Polish newcomer Blazej Urbanek, who stormed his way to the semi-finals after soundly beating many seasoned Kick Off 2 players. Christopher Durrans won the best defense trophy, the second Norwegian to get it since Klaus Loite in 2002. Steve Baker kept the Silver Cup trophy in England. Two players from Turkey joined the World Cup for the first time, and one of them, Taner Goren, wore the Shirt of Shame. Finally, the KOA honoured Rodolfo Martin with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Note: 35 players were divided into three groups of 9 and one group of 8. The top four players from each group qualified to the World Cup Groups, while the rest would compete in the Silver Cup.
